Project Engineer II
Core Responsibilities
Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a project or in a total project
Ensures that schedules and deadlines are met
Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features and design customization
Applies standard engineering practices and techniques
Performs calculations
Adjusts and correlates data; recognizes discrepancies in results
Checks drawings
Prepares designs
Prepares Bills of Material
Follows through to support the procurement, manufacturing, and customer service efforts
Maintains complete and accurate files and records to document work performed
Leads on-site work such as installation, commissioning, etc.
Product Line Development, Maintenance, and Improvement
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Education, Experience, and Technical Knowledge
4-6 years of Project Engineering experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field required
Strong computer skills in Word, Lotus and other CAD related programs
Work experience in manufacturing environment helpful
Good knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Extensive knowledge of processes utilized by MECO
