Mechanic Coffee co. is Hiring a Part-time Barista Near Pittsburgh, PA
Mechanic Coffee (Shadyside location) is looking for an individual who is up beat, engaging and has a interest in coffee.
We're a team of friendly, hard working and supportive people.
We're a growing company and would love to bring on people who are interested not only in barista work, but to grow into other opportunities as our company expands.
No previous barista experience needed.
Requirements/Experience
Must be available to work weekends
Must be able to stand for longer periods of time
Must have strong work ethic
Must have good attitude
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Prepare and serve handcrafted drinks
Engage with customers
Use register and handle money
Keep a clean and tidy work area
Keep busy during slower times
Learn and explain different coffee types and profiles. E.g. Blend vs. Single Origin
Hours for shifts:
Register: Mon-Sat. 7:30-11:30 Sun. 8:30-2
Opening Shift Mon-Sat. 6:30-12. Sun 7:30-12:30
Closing shift Mon-Sat 11:30-5. Sun. 12-5
Position: Part time
Currently seeking to fill 2-4 shifts per week.
(Additional opportunities available to add more hours)
Compensation
Starting wage $10 tips(average an additional $6 per/hr)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
