JOB POSTING: QC TECHNICIAN - GILROY, CA

Our company is seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Technician to join our team in Gilroy, CA. As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining regulatory compliance. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is an integral part of our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor daily activities of the different manufacturing lines to ensure they are performed to published procedures and are properly documented
  • Conduct internal audits (GMPs) to ensure compliance with all regulations and customer requirements
  • Conduct end product quality analysis
  • Maintain an accurate set of documents confirming the accuracy and control of the Quality Assurance Program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience with food or ingredients and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP
  • Basic understanding of food production fundamentals
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • English required, English/Spanish bilingual a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and demands
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, able to work independently
  • Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
