Meadowlawn Condominium Association is Hiring an Office Secretary Near Mentor, OH

Overview: Meadowlawn is a Condominium Association (HOA) that is comprised of 274 family units. We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to become part of our team and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks for our Homeowners Association.

This is a part time position (25 hours per week). Ideal schedule Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Days and hours can be tailored to accommodate candidate. Seven (7) paid holidays.

The office secretary and maintenance team are employed by and overseen by the HOA Board of Directors

The duties of the office secretary include the following, Communicating with the Board of Directors· Communicating and providing support to our owners, residents, board members and maintenance manager· Working with and communicating with contractors, service providers and vendors. Assisting in daily office needs, and managing our office's general administrative activities. Answering and directing calls and emails. Filing, faxing, emailing, typing, drafting resident letters. Maintain computer and manual filing systems. Prepare payroll, process, and prepare incoming bills for payment. Process and organize incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence. Monitor, maintain, and replenish office supplies as needed. Handle deadlines for the association. Maintain financial information in QuickBooks. Set up new ACH payments (HOA dues). Close accounts for potential issues. Verify owner monthly HOA payments. Handling Transfer of Title for unit sales

Qualifications:

· QuickBooks experience a must

· Microsoft Office experience

· Proven experience in office management or a similar role

· Proficient in calendar management and scheduling

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

· Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette

· Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment

· Previous experience with HOA operations is a plus.

Pay: $16.26 - $17.25 per hour
