Meadowlake Pet Resort & Training Center is an industry leading facility in the Houston area dedicated to “Making Lives Better for Pets and Their People! Our two locations provide overnight pet lodging, daycare, training, and grooming services, as well as dog birthday parties, themed events, retail, transportation services and so much more! We are currently seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic individual to fill the part time and seasonal positions of Activities Counselor at our 288 South facility, located at 13500 Furman Rd, Houston TX 77047 and our Galleria facility, located at 6393 Richmond Avenue, Houston TX 77057.
The Activities Counselor is responsible for performing play times and activities with dogs and cats staying in our care. These activities include playing outdoors with toys, cuddle times in the pet’s room, handing out treats and even reading bedtime stories! The Activities Counselor will provide loving care to each guest to ensure they leave happy and healthy.
A great candidate for this position will have the following skills:

·A general knowledge of dog behavior, health, etc.

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·Extreme attention to detail
·Skilled in time management
·Willingness to work hard in any weather condition
·Ability to work mornings, afternoons and weekends

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
