Meadowbrook stables is a large lesson and show barn in Chevy Chase, MD searching for an additional team member!The position will be a mix of riding, teaching beginner through intermediate lessons, grooming (mane pulling/clipping/horse show prep), with the possibility of going to horse shows to groom and school ponies. The position will be varied from day to day, so the successful candidate will be someone who enjoys going with the flow. This is a great introductory job for those recently out of college looking to gain more experience - though more experience is of course welcomed! Preference will go to individuals small enough to ride medium ponies. The position is hourly, typically a 40 hour/5 day a week position, and offers paid time off and benefits. We offer many professional development opportunities but the position does NOT include housing or a stall for a personal horse.
