ESY School Nurse located at Meadowbrook Farms Elementary SchoolMonday -Thursday 8:30a-11:30aJuly 8th-August 8Th, 2024Duties: Identifies students’ health needs, implements services, and evaluates plan of care.Collaborates with students and their families, educators, and health care providers to enhance studentwellness.Provides for state-mandated screening programs including vision, hearing, dental, and scoliosis.Maintains individual student health records, including electronicSupports mandated immunization protocol form the R.I. Department of Health.Specific tasks include: medication administration, first aid, emergency treatment, daily medical logmaintenance, medical exclusion, daily medical tasks such as diabetes pumps, g-tubes, etc. All other duties assigned by the Superintendent or Principal.Qualified applicants must be fully certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education as a School Nurse Teacher and be CPR certified.
