Meadow Gold Dairies Hawaii is Hiring a Dispatcher/Router Near Waipahu, HI
- Become efficient and effective in the application of the company's routing tool.
- Plan the daily routes to be as efficient and cost-effective as possible by constantly striving to reduce stops, miles, and hours.
- Perform daily/weekly updates to the routing tool by updating Customer Open/Close times, Delivery Windows, delivery equipment, driver, helper, and merchandisers.
- Perform re-routing exercises on the routing tool to identify alternative and more efficient ways to route loads.
- Monitor drivers' delivery status and informs the Order Desk and Sales of any variances.
- Work with the Sales Team, Order Desk, and Operations Management to maximize our delivery performance to our best Customers.
- Run daily/weekly reports for operations management as needed.
- Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 6 months in a similar position
- CDL A or B experience preferred
- Strong team player that thrives in a fast moving environment
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and sit intermittently up to 10 hours per day
- Able to work in temperatures ranging from -15 °F to 88 °F
