Meadow Creek Post-Acute is Hiring a Director of Staff Development Near Paramount, CA
Affinity Healthcare Center is currently looking for a passionate Director of Staff Development to work in healthcare facilities and work out 98 bed sub-acute facility. You are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs.
- Produced instruction material and training aids into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the administrator concerning in-service training programs.
- Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
- Assist the Quality Assessment and Assurance Coordinator in developing and implementing a quality assurance program for in-service training.
- Assist licensed nursing personnel (i.e., RNs, LVNs and CNAs) in obtaining in-service training to keep their license current in accordance with state law.
- Assist in the development of the in-service training budget.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information to assure resident rights are protected, including the right of refusal.
- Moves intermittently during working hours.
- May work flexible hours.
- Communicates with department supervisors to determine departmental training needs
Salary: $44.00 - $48.00/hour
Qualification:
- Must have possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a DSD Certification.
- Must have 5 years of experience as a DSD
- Must have an active license and practice as a Nurse in the current state
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
