Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling, operating various types of forklifts, and working in warehouse or distribution center environments.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Utilize forklift equipment to load and unload trucks and shipping containers
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Support order pulling, prepping, and securing cargo to shipment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment including sit-down forklift.
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and order picking procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocol adherence
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Certification or training in forklift operation is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
