The Responsibilities:

We are excited to share an opening for a STAFFING CONSULTANT servicing South Houston. This position is crucial to the company, making connections with job seekers to determine their matches to existing jobs and search assignments.

The Expectations:

· Manage all recruiting, screening, testing, and staffing activities.

· Draft job postings, process applicants, document communication, and conduct new-hire orientation.

· Ensure all assigned employees have been processed in a timely manner, according to Meador and client standards.

· Conduct pre-employment onboarding including drug screening.

· Oversee assigned employees via evaluation calls and client service visits.

· Communicate and counsel assigned employees and clients regarding performance, wages, benefits, and other employment-related matters.

· Make hiring and termination decisions of assigned employees.

· Manage termination documentation including unemployment claim communication.

· Maintain updated recruiting and interviewing resources to ensure recruitment of best-available candidates for clients.

· Maintain knowledge of current legislation, rules, regulations, and other compliance with federal and state laws and company policies.

· Rotate "on call" schedule monthly with team members.

· Represent the company at job fairs, schools, and other recruitment functions.

· Represent the company during marketing visits to existing client sites.

The Knowledge and Requirements:

· Professional communication via phone, email, and in-person, REQUIRED.

· Experience in sourcing/recruiting/staffing, HUGE PLUS!

· Experience with job boards and social media, PREFERRED.

· Experience with technology including online databases, PREFFERED.

· Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree, HUGE PLUS!

The Benefits:

Starting compensation for this role is 41K to $46K plus incredible bonuses and commissions! This role is direct-hire. The position does require in office attendance.
