Position available:
Staff Accountant – Entry-level positions for our Akron, Cleveland and Wooster offices in the Assurance and Tax Departments. We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Description of position:
 
You will get real-world experience working with talented professionals in both tax and audit engagements. We believe that getting exposure in both areas allows you to see the bigger picture in accounting and will help you to determine which career path you would like to choose.
You’ll prepare federal, state and local tax returns for all types of business entities, individuals and trusts as well as work at client locations on various aspects of audit and accounting. You’ll work in small engagement teams directly with members of client management. We’ll provide you with cutting edge technical tools and the necessary training to use it, to ensure you are fully equipped to meet the challenge. You’ll have access to resources that will help you launch your career, not just meet the requirements of a job.
You’ll have an ample opportunity to enjoy a personal life outside of accounting, while maintaining a healthy balance between working hard and having fun. This position is available in our Northeast, Ohio offices: Cleveland, Akron, or Wooster.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting ; preferred minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 .
* Availability for travel .
* Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, as well as openness to training in other Windows-based applications.
