Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position is for a personalized healthcare practice. Excellent customer service skills as well as clinical skills are essential.

Duties:
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting and preparing patients for their appointments
- Assist with coding and billing procedures to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology to accurately record patient medical histories
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Apply your anatomy knowledge to accurately position patients for diagnostic tests
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

Skills:

-Medical assistant certification
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Strong patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Experience in vaccination administration
- Ability to provide medical administrative support, including appointment scheduling and record management
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

License/Certification:
