Job Purpose:

Responsible for management and coordination of the warehouse processes involved for Shipping / Receiving, Production, Work in process, Material delivery and removal. Responsible for the overall supervision of the shipping and receiving department.

Primary Responsibilities / Duties:

• Meets requirements for warehouse associates.
• Oversees all warehouse operations (including shipping and receiving) as a hands-on leader, assist in training, motivate, ensure all process steps and procedures are being followed as it pertains to the areas.
• Assess current staff in warehouse positions and suggest what areas need to be trained on and provide direction, time, and resources for the training.
• Continuously provide improvements on all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movements through updated SOP’s and daily review feedback
• Provide positive and negative feedback through coaching, and encouragement.
• Help in decisions on trucking as it pertains to moving around trucks based on appointment or needs for production.
• Help with scheduling team members for time off with minimal impact on the team or production.
• Oversee proper amount of material in both annex and warehouse side while making necessary adjustments.
• Loads and unloads delivery vehicles to include operating fork trucks, lifting and carrying merchandise and stocking in appropriate areas throughout the warehouse.
• Completes appropriate paperwork for deliveries and submits to management each day. Also reviews and files department paperwork (cleaning/radio logs, dropped trailer inspections).
• Maintain a clean and safe department.
• Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Conduct employee performance reviews, plan and mentor for team member development, and aid with team member skills training.
• Assist QA department with Hold and Release procedures.
• Certified Tow Motor operator.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School diploma required. College degree preferred. 2 or more years of related Warehouse experience preferred.
• General computer skills desired.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work with minimal supervision, effectively work in a fast paced environment, have strong decision making skills and use good judgment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekend overtime or temporary reassignment to a different shift. Able to work in cool 50 degree production room or 34-38 degree coolers.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
