MDMS is recruiting for a Technical Lead - AWS Data Engineer for a New Jersey based financial services firm. You will help to drive Data Engineering and Data Technology services across the corporate enterprise, and will partner with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and other technical teams to design drive data-driven solutions. You will design, build, and maintain reusable code and architecture; perform hands-on development and testing; ensure best practices are met; and work to connect different data sets and systems across the enterprise. Please note that this is a hybrid role.

Requirements:
- 7 years of experience implementing and supporting data technologies, data pipeline, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Experience working as a Technical Lead or Architect.
- Hands on coding experience in Python. Java, Scala, and Shell Scripting are a plus.
- Experience working on AWS cloud technologies and platforms.
- Knowledge of/experience with Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT, Big Data Technologies, Databases, and Agile Development.
- Experience working with AWS services: CloudFormation, S3, Glue, EMR/Spark, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, SM.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Analytics tools.
- AWS Certifications.
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
