MDI Rock is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Dewey, AZ

MDI ROCK is a Landscape Rock and Construction Materials Supplier serving customers throughout Arizona. Founded in 1988 MDI ROCK Continues to be locally owned and is now the largest locally owned Landscape Supply Company in Arizona. With Locations in Phoenix, Prescott, Queen Creek and Dewey

MDI ROCK as an immediate opening for an Equipment Operator at our DEWEY, AZ location

Hours are 7am - 3pm - Fulltime

Ideal applicant has a well rounded background operating a wide variety of equipment including Wheel Loaders, Excavators, and Rock Trucks. Experience with blast hole drilling and quarry blasting is highly preferred. This position operates outside in an open mine.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Operate rock crusher in a gravel pit - Running a CAT 980 loader feeding out plant cone crusher

Monitor and adjust crusher and conveyors to control the flow of materials to specified type and quality of aggregates being produced.

· Complete daily maintenance and inspections of the crushing/screening plant, conveyors and misc. equipment.

· Service and assist in repair of the crusher/screening plants and perform housekeeping duties around crusher area, including shoveling.

· Will require operating wheel loaders, excavators, and misc. equipment such as skid steer

· Must be able to communicate and work well with others and able to lift 50 pounds.

· Performs other tasks as needed and assigned.

· Complies with Company Safety Program.

· Performs routine and preventive maintenance.

· Performs tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function.

· Identifies mechanical problems visually.

· Hard hat, Safety boots, long sleeves and glasses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
