Md Plastics is Hiring a CNC Operator Near Columbiana, OH
```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Haas CNC machines (ST-20Y, TL-2, and TM-2P) to produce high-quality parts and components for the plastics engineering industry. If you have experience in CNC machining and are detail-oriented with strong technical skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- You will also be required to help finish parts by sandblasting, grinding, honing, and polishing to get a finished product ready to ship to customers
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating milling machines and other CNC equipment
- Strong knowledge of CAM programming and G-code
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with press operations, including stamping press, is a plus
- Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements
- Knowledge of logic controllers and troubleshooting electrical systems is beneficial
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with sandblasting, grinding, honing, and polishing, is a plus
