Manages drug therapy of patients. Responsibilities: Reviews, accesses and maintains patient medication records and profiles for allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplication to provide a consistent quality of patient care and appropriate drug therapy . Provides information to physicians, nurses, and patients. May assist in developing competencies for the department. Assists in the supervision of pharmacy technicians in distributive functions and departmental operations under the direction of the pharmacy operations manager and director of pharmacy. Performance demonstrates efforts to improve patient satisfaction, lower costs and improve quality. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. What you will need: Pharmacy Licensure Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Current licensure from the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy. (If out of state, eligible for licensure in Maryland; licensure requirements completely satisfied within three (3) months after employment.) Preferred: Knowledge of software: Word, Excel, Power Point; ASHP accredited residency, membership in ASHP and WMSHP.
