Description:

As a key member of our organization, a Director of Operations is tasked with managing multiple departments, staff, and projects across the company. This means having extensive knowledge of the industry, finance principles and employee output while understanding and striving to meet the company’s strategic goals, mission, values, and beliefs. This position reports directly to the Chief of Operations (COO).

Responsibilities:

  • Leads an integration and implementation team and develops strategies that accelerates our integration timeline for acquisitions and new site launch success.
  • Leads and optimizes our vendor set up process and supports vendor negotiation to improve our terms, reduce COGs and lead times.
  • Intimate knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the MD Esthetics practices and can adjust operational procedures based on better efficiencies, cost, or innovation.
  • Work cross-functionally with our Chief Growth Officer & Regional VPs to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity of each practice and reduce costs and increase profits.
  • Supports the Chief Growth Officer for the success of the corporate locations, including P&L responsibility for individual location performance, overall market performance, and overall performance of the significant EBITDA stream these locations provide.
  • Establishes the optimal inventory levels across all practices and maximizes efficiency of the ordering process.
  • Develops staffing needs and budget across all practice locations.
  • Works with clinical team to establish value/cost etc. of new services and presents to COO.
  • Works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve the overall efficiency and excellent service.
  • Manages multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
  • Maintains and manages the location-auditing process for effective location evaluations.
  • Leads quarterly COGs meetings and develops strategies to reduce COGs.
  • Actively partners with the Finance, Marketing, and IT and ensures cross-functional alignment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit operations
  • Experience in the Spa and/or Wellness industry preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in leading a team
  • A desire to learn the business and to take personal responsibility for your own success
  • A team player with a great attitude who will take on challenges and adapt as needed
  • Flexible and able to balance competing priorities with limited supervision
  • Experience with P&L tracking
  • Experience with creating and implementing a strategic plan
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Independently motivated
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative and creative working environment
  • Ability to travel locally and domestically (approx 30% of time)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
