Supervisory Responsibilities
Quality Assurance 1. Monitors assigned area for environmental deficiencies.
2. Monitors and documents compliance with area SOPs.
3. Provides staff training on SOPs for all pharmacy systems and equipment.
4. Assures that QA / CQI is consistently performed and documented
5. Observes operations and initiates changes as needed to maintain and improve services
6. Ensures 95% of staff completes all mandatory trainings before deadline
7. Evaluates needs of the area and delegates projects to the staff or completes necessary tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
Education Required :
Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy and Pharm D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy,
Successful completion of LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory of management experience.
Education Preferred : Pharm D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Experienced Required : Two years of related Pharmacist or Clinical Pharmacist experience.
Experience Preferred : Four years of Pharmacy related experience to include completion of a Post Graduate Year 1 and Post Graduate Year 2 Pharmacy Practice Residency.
Licensure / Certification Required : All of the following :
Texas Sate Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license within 90 days of job entry.
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Certification within 90 days of job entry, if working in one of following departments : Pharmacy Inpatient (710348), Pharmacy ATC ACB (710355), Pharmacy- West Houston (710657) Pharmacy-The Woodlands (710480).
License / Certification Preferred
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of job entry.
