In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Patient Financial Counselor.

Work Location: Bradenton, FL

As part of this role, you will:

• Enroll and provide information to patients about a variety of supportive programs (e.g. housing, healthcare, etc..)
• Provide follow-up and education to patients regarding health coverage
• Attend community events and distribute outreach materials
• Create patient payment plans

What you need to bring to this role:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years' experience with determining program eligibility required
• Ability to complete & obtain ACA Marketplace Certification or other certifications as needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Office required
• Ability to move between sites as needed (with mileage reimbursement)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers in stressful situations
• Detail oriented with an organized mind-set
• Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
