Job Title: EVS Generalist

·Full-time: Evenings& Weekends-2nd Shift (8 Hours)

Job Summary: The EVS Generalist performs, coordinates, and assists with routine cleaning, sanitation, and other housekeeping tasks throughout the Hospital. The EVS Generalist assists with the handling and processing of waste and bio-waste materials by collecting, transporting, and sorting as specified. The Generalist will also do other duties that may include outdoor tasks if the weather permits. The Generalist is responsible for the assistance with departmental goals to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitors indoor environments for unsafe conditions involving accumulations of trash, soi, or incidence of spills.
• Ensures the upkeep and sanitation required for continual and safe operation of assigned areas throughout the Hospital.
• Restocks hand soaps, sanitizers, and sanitary paper products for patient care, visitors, and staff.
• Work with other EVS staff as a team to assure everyone has help in areas.
• Maintains communication with shift lead/supervisor for further instruction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

·Highschool diploma or equivalent

·2 years of housekeeping experience preferred

Skills

• Ability to work in a team setting and independently.
• Prioritization and time management skills and adequate communication skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
