We have an exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Software Developer to join our team. This position will be responsible for gathering requirements and developing Oracle Web Commerce (ATG) applications to support the business and create a smooth customer experience.

This position is based at our corporate office which is centrally located at Rocky Point, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay.

Key Responsibilities:

Development of Oracle Web Commerce(ATG) applications and support.
Work with Business Analysts to collect and develop application requirements for added website functionality and improvements on existing applications.
Interface with UX design team to ensure appropriate design is being developed.
Participate in ongoing development and discussions initiatives with Technology Team
Investigate new technology and ideas to enhance website and commerce functions.
Participate in code reviews and resolve security and vulnerability issues as they arise.
Implement development best practices and standards.
Work closely with engineering/product/quality teams to take the E-commerce properties to the next level.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience.
Knowledge of ecommerce best practices, frameworks and tools.
3 years’ working experience on Oracle Web Commerce(ATG) is a plus
3 years of experience in application development with strong focus on Java, J2EE, REST API Development, and Unit Testing
Strong OO programming skills and understanding of design patterns
Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle database fundamentals.
At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and also with local and remote team members.
Experience working with JIRA is a plus.
Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business objectives
