Description:
The Analyst/Associate position provides a great opportunity to join a high-performance organization and support to the Investment and Asset Management teams. In this position, the individual will develop a comprehensive understanding of the strategy, initiatives, and concepts required to evaluate opportunities across the capital stack (debt and equity) for hotels and hospitality-related investments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce and develop financial analyses and models for a range of hotel investments, including but not limited to direct real estate acquisitions, development, passive and active equity investments in operating companies and real estate, and debt investments
• Produce ad-hoc analyses to evaluate the performance of existing portfolio assets and asset strategy decisions around dispositions and refinancings
• Prepare professional, qualitative presentations for investment committee, board members, and/or investors
• Review and analyze due diligence such as financial profit and loss budgets, forecasts, month-end financial statements, STR reports, contracts, and agreements
• Support in raising capital and investor relations
• Conduct market research related to specific investments as well as broader industry and capital market trends
• Participate in monthly/quarterly meetings
• Develop strong inter-company relationships with other McNeill Investment Group subsidiaries and affiliates

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Hospitality, Finance or Accounting preferred
• 1 years of professional experience, preferably with an emphasis on hotel real estate finance; recent graduates will also be considered
• Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, experience with real estate financial modeling preferred
• Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
• Resourceful and able to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision
• Highly analytical and process-oriented (strong project management skills a plus)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented
• Flexible and adaptable with excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Demonstrates confidence, enthusiasm, energy and strong desire to achieve team goals
