As a Courier in the Accounting department at a manufacturer of electrical products, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and retrieval of important financial documents, packages, and correspondence between internal departments, external partners, and clients. Your role will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of accounting processes by facilitating the secure transport of sensitive materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up accounting-related documents, packages, and correspondence to and from various locations within the company and external parties.
• Maintain records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented.
• Verify the authenticity and integrity of documents and packages before delivering them.
• Handle sensitive financial information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
• Coordinate with the accounting team to prioritize and schedule deliveries based on urgency and importance.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed, such as filing, organizing documents, and data entry.
• Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting processes and terminology is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
