From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is accepting applications for a Full-time Registered Nurseto work and care for the patients in the Substance Use Residential Treatment Program in Charlotte, NC.


What does this position do for the agency
? The position is responsible for the following, with other duties as assigned:

  • Administer medication to clients according to medical order.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping and notes as required.
  • Perform admissions on new clients.
  • Coordinate clients’ medical appointments, including follow-up care and refills as necessary.
  • Ensure doctor’s orders are followed.
  • Respond to staff needs – give PPD tests, respond to medical codes.
  • Audit charts, ensures medical inventory is stocked.

Education/Experience:

Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an RN or holds a license with multi-state practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact. Prior experience with SUD/MH population preferred but not required.
