Daily Work Times: 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Scheduled Hours per Pay: 72
Position Summary:
Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. Responsible to see that nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Qualifications - External
Required:
· 2 years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
· Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
· BLS certification
· Completion of basic arrhythmia course within the orientation period on the unit
· NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer
Preferred:
· 6 months to 1 year of job related experience.
· Telemetry experience.
