Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to standards of nursing practice of McLaren Regional Medical Center, which consists of systematic approach to nursing practice by using nursing process.
- Assesses and documents patient’s status on admission and continuously thereafter.
- Develops written plan of care, including long and short range goals and nursing actions.
- 2 years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Must complete the Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy course within one (1) year of hire or transfer.
- BLS
- Oncology, surgery and/or chemotherapy experience preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of job related experience.
