Program Overview

The Mternship program is a 10 week full-time summer internship program designed to provide students a hands-on experience to prepare for careers in advertising and marketing, design firms, brands or other companies in the communications field. Mterns will have the opportunity to work on significant educational projects that can include, but are not limited to, the concept and creation of package designs, digital campaigns, brochures, print ads, TV commercials, websites, experiential design and any other medium used to market a product, service or brand. The goal is for students to leave with projects for their portfolio and/or an understanding of how a creative agency works.

INTERNSHIP JOB DESCRIPTION

Intern will gain experience in managing projects, developing timelines, overseeing budgets, and gaining an overall understanding of the process of developing and producing advertising.

• Research and analysis of industry in trends, competitive data, and key objectives
• Ensure all internal teams are consistently up-to-date on projects and next steps
• Assist account manager in competitive monitoring, research, and reporting
• Work closely with internal project managers, creative, strategy, digital and media groups to keep them informed of any changes in client and/or competitive climate. 
• Attend internal meetings and assist with note taking
• Assist in developing client presentations as needed
• Participate in internal brainstorming & ideation sessions
• Assist Account Manager in assignment brief development 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Must be graduating between December 2024 - May 2026
• Majoring in advertising, marketing, business or management
• Proficient in using Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to effectively write reports and business correspondence.
• Individuals should have interest in reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals and professional journals. 
• Must have a background in and/or passion for digital technology, media and experiences. 
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented in a production intensive environment.

NOTE: This is a hybrid internship, not fully remote. Interns must be able to work out of an office location at least three days a week. Relocation stipend not included in internship offer.

COMPENSATION

Our estimated compensation for this role is $18/hour.
