The National Account Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the administrative needs of the company’s accounts through effective customer service and communication, contributing to the overall growth of the company. This position will handle multiple sales, marketing, administrative, customer service, and sales support duties.

• Responsible for centralized account order processing, account maintenance, customer service and reporting for key accounts. Follow through with any customer requests including entry of all centralized accounts reservations and PO management.

• Responsible for maintaining CRM database of prospects and National Accounts, ensuring the collection of information regarding customers and prospects is always accurate. Follow-up with Account Managers to ensure appropriate communication with customers has been made.

• Facilitate all new customer set-ups to include customer credit applications, insurance certificates, CRM contact creation, rates, reservations and needed customer information. Ensure that information is requested, processed, and communicated to customers in a timely manner.

• Provide ongoing Sales Support to all National Accounts via email, phone, or customer portals.

• Assist in the preparation and processing of new vendor set ups, RFIs and RFPs for customers.
• Collect and share industrial and market intelligence among members of staff and management. Stay informed about competitor services and offerings.
• Support the Mckinney sales team with ongoing assistance and training in the CRM, updating of customer accounts and inside sales support.

• Provide administrative support to the Executive team as needed.
• Perform other duties in the Sales and Marketing departments when required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
