Responsibilities:

• Assist legal teams with detailed categorization and document indexing of client paperwork (tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.)
• Assist legal teams with opening new client files
• Assist legal teams with drafting, filing, serving, and tracking general pleadings and documents/correspondence (Notice of Appearance, Notice of Absence, Notice of Intent to Withdraw, Transmittal Memorandums, etc.)
• Assist legal teams with processing incoming and outgoing mail, and legal messenger deliveries, and provide copies to client via client's preferred method (email, mail)

Requirements:

• At least 2 -3 years of legal assistant experience is required, with family law experience strongly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines under time constraints
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• High degree of professionalism and dependability
• Paralegal certificate preferred
• Able to work regular office hours (8 am-5 pm, M-F) on-site in Kirkland office

Legal Assistant Total Rewards

• Job Salary Range: $21.73 - 32.60 per hour
• Expected Hiring Range: $22 - $28/hr. est. annualized $45,760 - 58,240
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
