Job Summary
McKesson is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Confers with leadership on actionable planning for maintenance activities.
Plans, budgets, and schedules preventative maintenance activities for all department.
Creates schedules for maintenance personnel based on skill, customer coverage, and manpower.
Holds team accountable for overall equipment upkeep and cleanliness.
Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
Mechanical experience with aligning bearings, shafts and drives.
Adjust tension of belts and chains.
Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
Ability to analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
Troubleshoot network systems.
Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
Configure and troubleshoot IBM compatible computers.
Education & Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
Typically requires 2 years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
1 years of facilities engineering experience.
Additional Skills
Electrical
Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
Trained to work with 460,220,120 VAC and 24-volt DC circuits.
Knowledge and understanding of motor starting circuits and power distribution circuits.
Ability to read electrical schematics and evaluate operations based on these schematics.
Ability to read ladder logic, download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.
Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as: photoeyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights and safety switches.
Mechanical
Align bearings, shafts, and drives.
Adjust tensions of belts and chains.
Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and to replace them.
Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manuals.
Work with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves.
Maintain printers.
Computer
Analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
Troubleshoot network (ethernet) systems.
Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
Ability to setup and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computer(s) and peripheral devices.
Working Conditions
Onsite Location – 608 Spring Hill Drive, Spring TX 77386
Physical requirements include 100% standing for extended periods of time, bending, lifting, and climbing.
Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Closely monitored and legally compliant regulations.
Production environment.
Must have flexibility to work evening shift as needed.
Ability to lift and carry 20 – 100 pounds.
Shift – (11:30a-8:00p) Monday-Friday.
