Job Summary:

• Provides leadership and serves as resource for staff. Responsible for decision making and problem solving on the unit.
• Teaches, guides and evaluates the performance of staff, including completion of performance appraisals and counseling.
• Performs established nursing procedures for patients based on the core competencies described in the staff nurse job description.

Educational/Licensing:

• Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of Oregon. Current BLS, ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years cardiothoracic & vascular surgery experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous CVOR RN experience.

Education

• Bachelors or better in Nursing or related field
