Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. Our goal is customer satisfaction, and obsession.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Repair: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances such as water heaters and boilers. Ensure all work is completed accurately and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Identify the root cause of problems and develop effective solutions to resolve them efficiently.
• Pipefitting: Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using various tools and materials. Install pipes in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Fixture Installation: Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and showers. Ensure fixtures are properly connected to water supply lines and drainage systems.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent plumbing problems and prolong the lifespan of plumbing systems. Inspect pipes, valves, and other components for signs of wear or damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to address their plumbing needs and concerns. Provide clear explanations of work to be performed, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction with services rendered.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plumbing Technician.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50 pounds).
• Stamina to work in physically demanding environments and confined spaces.
• Agility to maneuver through tight spaces and climb ladders as needed.

Work Environment:

The work environment for a Plumbing Technician may vary, including residential homes, commercial buildings, construction sites, and outdoor settings. This role may require working in cramped or uncomfortable positions and exposure to hazardous materials, fumes, and loud noises. Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to respond to emergency calls outside of regular business hours may be necessary. Some late nights and weekends may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
