We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. As a key member of the finance department, the Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Participate in the preparation and coordination of audits, addressing auditor inquiries and implementing audit recommendations.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on financial reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial results.
  • Investigate and provide explanations for significant variances, working collaboratively with relevant departments.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze various financial scenarios and provide insights into potential outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and support departmental initiatives.
  • Work closely with other finance professionals to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
