McGinnis, Inc. is interviewing for a Painter/Blaster with opportunity for growth!
The Painter/Sandblaster is responsible for the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally compliant operation of assigned area.
Primary functions include, but not limited to:
Other key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Perform maintenance to include cleaning, scraping, painting, changing all oil and filter.
2. Inspect, correct if possible, and notify the Section Head of any conditions, which will affect the safety of the vehicle or equipment.
3. Assist with the training of newly hired employees.
4. Work a schedule involving 8 hours and be able to occasionally work additional hours not to exceed twelve consecutive hours without rest.
5. Work a schedule of 5 days on 2 days off, or additional days as needed.
6. Perform all duties while wearing protective equipment to include PVC blast suit, foul weather gear, life jacket, gloves, respirator, and boots.
7. Adhere to and comply with company policies and environmental regulations.
