SUMMARY
Set up, program, operate CNC/manual machines to manufacture parts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operate complex set-ups for machinery safely and efficiently within close tolerances from drawings with minimal supervision
· Comply with all safety, quality (ISO), and company policies.
· Effectively communicate with supervisor and other shop team members.
· Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
· Produce first article parts and make necessary adjustments (programming-offsets-tooling) for a quality part.
· Can perform math and read G&M codes.
· Effectively troubleshoot fixtures, machining, and programming issues to correct
· Proficiently use measuring instruments with an emphasis on detail
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Document measurements taken from machined parts to meet quality standards
EXPERIENCE:
· Machining: 2 years (Preferred)
