Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually appealing graphic representations of projects using computer-aided design and drafting
  • Create stunning 3D renderings to showcase designs
  • Utilize SketchUp for high-quality renderings
  • Design planting plans to enhance landscapes
  • Develop layout and grading plans for optimal land use
  • Create irrigation plans for efficient water management
  • Provide detailed landscape construction detailing
  • Write landscape construction specifications
  • Craft engaging project narratives
  • Coordinate plan plotting and deliveries
  • Thoroughly document project sites through comprehensive photo documentation
  • Take precise as-built measurements of existing site elements
  • Collaborate with customers to understand project goals
  • Conduct finished plan presentations to customers
  • Conduct thorough research on various plant materials to assist project managers
  • Research materials required for design projects to determine availability and cost
  • Prepare project submittal applications, including building permits
  • Stay up-to-date with city and county codes and regulations
  • Assist with plan plotting and delivery coordination
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture OR 2-5 years of landscape design experience
  • Preferred: License in Landscape Architecture in any US State
  • Familiarity with GIS
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting, including Autocad
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Skilled in Sketchup and hand drafting techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Allen, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
