McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: assist with procedures, ordering of supplies, insurance prior authorization, scheduling appointments, assist patients, answering questions, rooming of patients to include vitals and updating EMR with medications and medical history.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Certification/License

• Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT & NHA)
• Possession of a State Practical Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers. 

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 

Experience

• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with prior authorizations preferred.
