Summary
A corporate opening currently exists for the Recover Specialist. This exempt-level position reports to the National Recover Manager and provides the unique mentoring opportunity to learn and refine the skills necessary to propel our continued growth and success in the Recover portion of our business.
Responsibilities
- Lead entire quote process from quote request to quote distribution, including coordination with estimating, engineering, drafting and weathertightness departments. Responsibility includes but is not limited to the following:
- Complete prelim engineering request form, submit, ensure timely completion, answer any questions, and share fees with National Recover Manager and/or customer
- Complete request form for fees (drafting, engineering, WTW), & submit, ensure timely completion, answer any questions, and share fees with National Recover Manager and/or customer?
- Scan through drawings and specs; capture necessary pages
- Complete simple take offs and distribute pricing
- Lead project management efforts including managing job specific correspondence.
- Manage and distribute pricing for our Symmetrical panel offering.
- Responsible for promotional efforts for Symmetrical/recover market to include but not limited:
- Attend trade shows
- Travel/make joint calls with National Recover Manager
- Make presentations with architects, building owners, consultants
- Identify & manage recover related speaking opportunities & tradeshows
- Create, publish & moderate recover related LinkedIn posts after Marketing review
- Assists National Recover Manager in identification and development of target markets to increase the use of Symmetrical panels and recover systems to include but not limited:
- Identify new construction opportunities; including warehouse, commercial and industrial spaces
- Identify and develop partnerships to promote Symmetrical panel and recover systems with the following focus:
- Steel fabricators
- Regional metal building manufacturers
- Storage architects/owners/contractors
- Design Build Opportunities-Military
- Minority owned businesses
- Single ply integration
- Roof Consultants
- Proactively lead quote follow-up process and work to move projects to purchase orders.
- Follow up with Tremco and McElroy Reps on quoted jobs as well as our Dealers.
Some requirements of this position are
- Strong math, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven project management skills.
- Physical requirements include the ability to climb heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Extensive travel
