Job Description

This opportunity is part of the DevOps COE in CPP Delivery office, where our mission is to help our product engineering teams deliver faster with improved quality and reliability. We work cross functional with our global product teams and market teams in defining and executing on our automation test strategy, improving our build and deploy pipelines to standard tools and templates and Identify opportunities to proactively maintain our product SLAs. As a Technical Program Manager, you will directly manage all the COE initiatives and responsible for all forms of reporting, communication and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Working with senior leadership and facilitating multiple stakeholder groups to identify priorities, define projects and associated milestones to deliver against these priorities.
  • Maintain and monitor list of key program-level dependencies across application groups and proactively track through to completion.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and governance with our global and market partners to share the roadmap and gather feedback and foster adoption
  • Help build a knowledge hub for best practices and recommendations of DevOps and Quality practices
  • Facilitate training sessions, office hours with the engineering community and help foster the culture of DevOps and Quality as practice
  • Define and measure KPIs for success

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Technology or related
  • PMP Highly Preferred 
  • Willingness and ability to live the McDonald's values every day: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to optimally communicate sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to solicit and communicate business expectations and build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical initiatives from an unclear problem statement, driving clarity, understanding, and discussing technical concepts, managing tradeoffs, and evaluating potential concepts with internal and external partners.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Project Management /Tracking with tools like JIRA, MS Project
