Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service in our hotel restaurant. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in food handling and customer service, we want to hear from you. Duties: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of the restaurant staff during assigned shifts - Ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene - Assist with food preparation, cooking, and banquet service as needed - Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and concerns - Manage POS system and handle cash transactions accurately - Train new team members on company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary - Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to develop strategies for improving efficiency and profitability - Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and resolving conflicts Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is required - Strong knowledge of food handling, banquet service, and kitchen management - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication skills to interact with team members, guests, and management - Proven leadership abilities with experience in training and managing a team - Bartending experience is a plus We offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment. Pay: $14.01 - $15.01 per hour
