We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. From receiving incoming shipments to picking and packing orders, your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential.

The duties for a warehouse distribution associate duties include but not limited to:

· Pull orders according to receipt, ensuring that correct items are pulled and in the correct amounts, placing items in bags, sealing the bags and placing them in proper cart for delivery.

· Dispense orders to inmates throughout detention facility in a timely manner, including but not limited too: positively identify inmate by facility identification, retrieve order and deliver items to the inmate, note any damages or miss picks, have inmate sign receipt, copy of receipt given to inmate, retain copy for commissary records, retrieve any trash from delivery process and dispose of trash properly, deliver copies of receipt to commissary office.

· Assist in restocking inventory for next day’s order pulling.

· Must be a team member and make a concerted effort to improve the quality, timeliness and appearance of all items used during the commissary process.

· Must understand and promote the concept customer comes first and whatever they can contribute to this end is expected of them.

· Attend training provided by McDaniel Supply Company as well as classes required by detention facilities.

· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications: Must pass a drug screen. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• High school diploma or GED Required

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent

· Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly

Assist in unloading of pallets and totes from transfer (truck) and restocking inventory. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Schedule: 7.5 hour shift Monday-Thursday, 4.5 hour shift Friday
