McDade-Woodcock, Inc. wants to expand our team by hiring a full time Electrical Estimator. Experience estimating is not required; however, the applicant should have a basic understanding of basic electrical materials and the means and methods for which they are installed. The overall duties of an Electrical Estimator are to estimate the cost of potential projects, which may include making site visits, and provide cost breakdowns and scope letters to include with the bids. Estimators use Accubid estimating software and Excel spreadsheets extensively, so computer skills are required. Other skills we are looking for would include the ability to work and think independently, being able to make assertive decisions, and being self-motivated. Interested candidates should submit their resume with a one-page letter addressing why they feel like they would be a good candidate for the position.
