As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the equipment and facilities at our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Regular Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ice cream machines, and beverage dispensers to ensure optimal operation.

2. Emergency Repairs: Respond to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions promptly, diagnosing issues and executing efficient repairs.

3. Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the restaurant’s physical structure, including lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment and facilities comply with health and safety standards. Address any hazards or violations promptly.

5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including inventory management of parts and tools.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant staff and management to identify and resolve maintenance issues. Provide training on basic equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.

• Knowledge of restaurant equipment maintenance and repair.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Availability for on-call emergency repairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
