This new hire will work in Hunt Valley, MD (Preferred) or Boise, ID. The Digital and E-Commerce Customer Manager will report to the Sales Director - Albertons.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Digital and E-Commerce Customer Managerwill be the principal resource to develop and manage Digital, E-Commerce, and Shopper Marketing programs for Albertsons in support of field sales team aligned with National Omni Channel strategy. In addition, this position will have overall responsibility for the retailer digital shelf, promotion, pricing, packaging, media, distribution, merchandising, research and new product plan for key segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and executes customer plan for E-commerce sales, digital shopper and shopper programs aligned with National Omni Channel strategy
  • Leads customer facing sales efforts with Albertsons Digital, E-Commerce and Shopper teams
  • Attends account calls and presentations in support of digital/Shopper/e-Commerce efforts
  • Leads analysis and annual planning for all Digital, shopper and E-Commerce Marketing events at Albertsons.
  • Executes projects and action plans in support of sales objectives and National Omni Channel strategy
  • Collaborates with multiple CBM’s and HQ Omni Channel Team in the planning and execution of digital, shopper, and e-commerce marketing for omni-channel trade activation
  • Liaison with Omni Channel HQ team in Hunt Valley for all Albertsons Divisions
  • Manages 3rd party relationships in support of digital and e-commerce events (i.e. Agency)
  • Supports financial or services ( i.e. Agency support) requests into National Omni Channel team with ROI and sales/trade analytics
  • Creates presentation materials, often presents to Customer on account calls
  • Assesses and monitors effectiveness of digital and shopper programs / ROI by event
  • Manages annual budget and spending plan for Corporate Albertsons Digital and Shopper marketing
  • Serves role of ecommerce and omni channel expert for Albertsons digital properties; Manages Digital MAPS process
  • Maintains online digital store conditions for Albertsons

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or closely-related business discipline.
  • 4 years Sales, Marketing or related experience with a minimum of 2 years experience managing customer base within Digital/Shopper/E-Commerce Sales
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, financial analysis, and business planning.
  • Proficient in data manipulation, scorecard creation, and a fundamental understanding of business impact.
  • Strong leadership, creativity and problem-solving skills with a bias for action
  • Expertise in leading mid-sized projects, supporting field sales initiatives with customer
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and organization skills.
  • Flexibility, prioritization, and working in a collaborative environment are essential.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of CPG industry sector and competitive landscape required
  • Ability to relocate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and experience calling on Albertsons and familiarity of Albertsons E-Commerce and Digital platforms
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative, cross functional work environment
