Position Summary

McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Technician I, Information Technology in our IT Department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking an individual who can follow established procedures, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well in hybrid remote office environment. Strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills, attention to detail and ability to organize is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and efficient resolution for Help Desk service tickets
• Offer daily operations and system support to personnel
• Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, software, and systems
• Verify functionality of computer systems, software, copy/print systems and connectivity
• Test new technologies
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures
• Maintain accurate equipment schedules for deployed hardware
• Create, plan and carry out end user webinar-based training sessions on various IT related topics
• Assess company technology on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
• Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and technology changes

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience
• BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
• Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently
• Thorough knowledge of current Microsoft Office 365 Suite and computer hardware
• Familiarity with network connectivity and troubleshooting
• Professional customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to work in an environment providing 24x7x365 support
• Ability to travel to various offices as needed
