Description

RV Technician

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30PM

Compensation: $18.00-30.00 per hour

Summary:

The responsibility of the RV Technician is to provide maintenance, repair, and accessory installation to recreational vehicles and trailers.

Job Duties:

  • Perform pre delivery inspections
  • Perform customer orientations on sold trailers
  • Troubleshoot appliances and repair
  • Find and repair leaks in water systems and drain systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs as needed ( low voltage 12vt DC and high voltage 110vt AC )
  • diagnose and repair sidewall and roof leaks
  • Perform cosmetic repairs in the interior and cabinets
  • Install accessories requested by customers ( solar, batteries, inverters, roof air conditioners )
  • Perform safety inspections and suggest repairs that need to be performed
  • Assemble and install hitches and demo to customers how to hookup and disconnect.
  • Install 5th wheel hitches and demo to customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in RV Industry required
  • Excellent attendance
  • Dependable transportation
  • Must have possession of own hand tools typical of the trade
  • must be a team player and willing to assist with different jobs as needed.
  • Okay with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts if needed
