MIS ATM/Bank Equipment Rigger

Overview

Reports to MIS Vice President & General Manager 

McCollister’s Installation Services (MIS) is a specialized division of McCollister’s Transportation systems supporting installation activities and related construction projects.

The MIS ATM/Bank Equipment Rigger is a technical installer than performs field installations of consumer activated terminals of all types for our customer base. Our primary focus is the installation of ATMs, check cashing machines, and web kiosks. This individual works with our Project Management Group, and are typically assigned a geographic region that they serve as their primary focus. The MIS Field Implementation Installer is generally located close to the McCollister’s Installation Services Distribution Center in their regions and work remotely. 

Responsibilities

  • Able to direct and manage subcontractors on site
  • Able to drive a small HD truck

  • Ability to measure and draw accurately (perform customer site surveys)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good understanding of constructions to do modifications on site if needed
  • Computer literate
  • Able to follow instructions, customer requirements and procedures
  • Site surveys of job sites to determine, identify, and document any out of scope issues.
  • Ability to measure and draw accurately for site surveys.
  • Receiving and inspection of customer inventory at MIS’ logistics partners.
  • On-site preparations (that could include light data wiring and light electrical modifications) modifications of wall openings, exterior walls, interior walls, and other modifications defined through the site survey.
  • Delivery (or delivery assist through our logistics partners) of the items to be installed.
  • Removal of existing on site equipment.
  • Installation of new equipment, anchor product to the floor, connect the data and electrical.
  • Equipment technical staging (possible training of software loading and programming).
  • Equipment bring live and troubleshooting.
  • Test the product, capture completion information and images, and clean the installation area of any debris caused by the installation. 
  • Management of subcontractors on site.
  • Digital images of completed work.
  • Post-site inspection and checklist completion.
  • Communication with Project Management and provide updates as required.
  • Paperwork completion and distribution.
  • Some warehouse work including inventory management, equipment staging and refurbishment.
  • Vehicle maintenance and inspections.
  • Follow all written instructions from Project Management.
  • Be able to work remotely or with other vendors and subcontractors
  • As a primary vendor to many manufacturers, financial intuitions, and 3rd party developers, installers provide a “turn-key” solution to deploy our customer’s products in the field.
  • Travel as needed

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is not required, but welcomed. 

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years in similar position
  • Previous ATM (or related) installation experience is preferred
  • Safe driving record
  • Able to drive a small HD truck
  • Able to move heavy equipment
  • Good understanding of constructions to do modifications on site if needed
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google G Suite
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills including follow through to job completion
  • Proven track record of working in a team environment and autonomously
