McCallion Staffing is Hiring a Press Brake Operator (FT) Near Souderton, PA
- Set up dies, punches, and programs of automatic and manual press brake on various types of sheet metal.
- Efficiently operate automatic and manual press brake.
- Calculate bend allowance and bend deductions to maintain quality standards.
- Understand and read blueprints.
- Able to work in fabrication department and basic fabrication manual machines.
- Work with minimal supervision to accurately accomplish any given task.
- Other duties as assigned/needed.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions including but not limited to basic correspondence and blueprints.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, angles, and volume. Knowledge of basic concepts of geometry.
- Minimum of 2 yr related fabrication/press brake experience.
- Must have a high school degree or GED.
- Experience working with a forklift preferred.
- Forklift and overhead crane training certification preferred.
- Must be able to stand up to 10 hrs per day.
- Regularly required to lift and or move up to 50lbs.
- Regularly requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, dust and carbon in the air, or other airborne particles that may require respiratory protection.
- Regular exposure to loud noise.
- Eye protection and foot protection required at all times.
